Payments

If you would like to pay for your counseling services with your Credit Card, be aware there is a $2.00 processing fee.   When entering your Counselors name  and Session Fee, please add the $2.00 fee to the total. (For example…if you copay is $20.00, enter $22.00 as your total…then press “Update” .)                                                       We also accept personal checks made out to Dr.Kathy Howell, and cash payment.

Additional Information Regarding Counseling Fees & Insurance Payments:

Client is responsible for obtaining written confirmation of the benefits and claims information so insurance coverage can be verified before the initial appointment. The fee for a typical 45-50 minute session ranges from $60.00 to $130.00, dependent upon which counselor is being seen.      This is to be paid in full until the first payment from the insurance company has been received. Any over-payments will be applied to your account or refunded. The client is ultimately responsible for payment to ACCARES. Counselors ask that your account be kept current and that payment be made at the beginning of each session in order that the focus remain on therapy and to save time- unless other arrangements have been made prior.   If a check is returned due to NSF, a $25.00 fee will be added to your account.
